Description
The Coach House is a mid-18th century house extended in the 19th century, originally constructed from rubble stone with a stone-tiled roof. It features a coped east end gable and an end wall stack. Flush quoins mark the corners. The original building is two storeys high with a three-window front. The upper floor has a range of flush, cyma-moulded, two-light windows. Below are a single two-light and a three-light window, each with a hoodmould. A central door is set within a moulded doorcase, also with a hood on brackets.
The house was extended to the west by one bay, featuring a brick end wall stack and a coped gable. However, the front of this section is hidden by a two-storey range with a slate roof, projecting southward, and a parallel range attached to the west with a hipped slate roof. Running west from the house is a converted stable range with a pantiled roof and 20th-century half dormers. These western ranges are 19th-century outbuildings associated with Willow House and have been significantly altered, lacking group value.
