Description
35, 37, and 39 Horsefair are a pair of houses with an additional house to the right, built in the late 18th century or early 19th century and altered in the 20th century. The buildings are constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring brick gable and party wall stacks, and topped with a stone slate roof. They have a single-depth plan and are two storeys high, each with a one-window range.
The right-hand doorway to No. 35 has a timber lintel, while Nos. 37 and 39 have paired doorways that span across ground-floor 20th-century casements, which were altered in the late 20th century for No. 39. The first floor has 19th-century casements for Nos. 37 and 39, and No. 35 features a 2/2-pane horned sash window. The ground floor beneath the lintel of No. 35 has been infilled with later stonework. The interior has not been inspected.
