Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 1 metre south of the Perren tomb, in the Memorial Garden east of the Church of St. John. It dates from the later 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone.
The north side features an oval plaque adorned with cherub heads in the upper spandrels, with draped urns on either side. The south side has two rectangular panels separated by a drapery drop. The tomb has baluster corners and is finished with a moulded base and cornice, which includes a pulvinated frieze.
