Description
The W. Bassett monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 2 meters south of the center buttress of the south aisle of the Church of St. Thomas. It dates from the later 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features two sunk panels on each side, sunk end panels, and a moulded ridged capstone. An inscription on the north side commemorates W. Bassett.
