Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located approximately 13 meters south of the south aisle at the west end of the Church of St. John in Colerne. The tomb dates from the mid-18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. It features oval side panels with foliate decoration on the spandrels and side piers. The tomb has a moulded cap but is half buried and has suffered erosion over time.
