Description

The White House is a cottage dating from 1680. It has a timber frame with brick noggings and a double-roll pantiled roof. The building is one storey with an attic and consists of two bays, with a single-storey extension added at the north end in the 20th century. The extension features a door and small paned windows set in applied frames, topped with tiled pent roofs. The left bay has a large gable that jetties to the rear, while the right bay has a smaller gable. There is a brick stack between the bays, which bears a reset datestone. The property has undergone significant restoration.
