Description
Tidcombe Manor is a Grade II* listed house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a tiled roof. The building is two stories tall and has five bays across the front and three bays deep, with one-story rear wings. The main block includes a central stair hall flanked by reception rooms. The central bay of the front elevation is slightly projected, with quoining and a gabled roof. The entrance features a central six-pane door topped by an open pediment supported by Tuscan columns. A stone plat band runs across the front, extending over the side bays. The windows are 12-pane sashes with gauged brick lintels and reeded stone keys. The roof has a hipped design behind a parapet, and the chimneys are symmetrical. Inside, the reception rooms are adorned with marble fireplaces and panelled shutters.
