Description

Elm Cottages is a pair of cottages from the mid to late 18th century, modified to fit the style of estate cottages. They are constructed of rendered clunch and feature thatched roofs. The cottages are bilaterally symmetrical, each having two bays with a central half-glazed door and a thatched canopy above it. The windows are timber casements, and there is a central brick chimney stack. At both ends of the cottages, there are single-storey extensions made of brick and thatch. The surrounding cottages are of a later date and have undergone alterations.
