Description
This is a row of four cottages, numbered 2 to 5, located on Huntingdon Street, dating from the 17th century. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble and have stone-tiled roofs, with five hipped dormers. They contain a total of seven windows. Most windows are 2- and 3-light casements with moulded stone mullions and dripmoulds. Number 5 has two sash windows in plain reveals, with intact glazing bars. The doorways are plain, and number 5 features a flat stone hood supported by cut stone brackets. Numbers 1 to 6 together form a group with the adjacent Bearfield Congregational Chapel.
