Description

This is an 18th-century post office situated on Silver Street in Warminster. The building is two storeys high and constructed of stucco. It has a hipped roof covered in old tiles, with chimneys on either side. The first floor features four sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has an early 19th-century symmetrical shop front. A recessed central doorway is flanked by two shop windows, which are framed by pairs of Doric pilasters and feature a plain frieze and cornice. To the east, the building returns with two and three storeys, continuous eaves, and hipped gabled extensions to the west.
