Description

The Haven is a late 18th-century building located on the north side of Silver Street in Warminster. It is two storeys high with an attic and a basement, constructed of red brick resting on a coursed rubble plinth, and features a rubble gable wall. The roof is a mansard style covered with old tiles and hipped to the right, topped with a single brick ridge chimney.

The building has two hipped dormers that contain small paned sash windows. There are four glazing bar sash windows on the first floor (one of which is false) and three on the ground floor, all framed with architrave. To the right of the building, there is a six-panel door with a plain rectangular fanlight above it, also surrounded by an architrave and accessed by two steps. A high relieving arch over the doorways and a break to the left may indicate an entry to a yard. Additionally, there are two small stone mullioned casements in the basement.
