Description

Woodbridge House is an early 19th-century house built of red brick with low-pitched hipped slate roofs. It is two storeys high and has a square plan with a three-window range. The front features a slightly recessed centre, a floor band, and sash windows with gauged brick heads, consisting of 16 panes on each side and 12 panes in the centre of the first floor. The centre has an arched-headed doorway with a traceried fanlight, which is set in a tent-roofed trellis porch. The west front is plainer, with 12-pane sashes on each side and a blank window in the centre above an arched-headed doorway. The front brickwork is laid in Flemish bond with white lime joints.
