Description
Broadleaze Farmhouse is an early 18th century and late 18th to early 19th century farmhouse, originally built in a layout resembling a capital “L”. The original part is colourwashed stone with a stone tile roof and comprises two storeys and an attic, with three bays. A three-bay wing of colourwashed diaper brick was added in the late 18th or early 19th century to the right side. The farmhouse has a 19th-century front door and four-pane sash and casement windows, alongside two canted hipped bay windows. There are three hipped dormers and gable stacks. A tall brick stack is located at the centre of the earlier section.
