Description
The barn at Kingway Farm is an early 18th-century structure. It is built from coursed rubble and features timber lintels, topped with a hipped stone slate roof that has a section of corrugated asbestos at the junction with the midstrey. The barn has a T-shaped plan consisting of six bays, with a south midstrey. There is a single plank door on the west wall of the midstrey, while the two-leaf doors on the south face are decayed. A cart entrance on the north face includes two-leaf plank doors. Inside, the barn retains its original through-purlin, collar, and tie-beam roof structure.
