Description

CORSHAM CHURCH SQUARE ST 8770 5/67 Unidentified monument in churchyard about 9m north of Wastfield monument, north of north transept of Church of St. Bartholomew GV II

Chest tomb, mid to later C18, ashlar with large north side oval plaque framed by foliate scroll decoration. Fluted angle piers. South side, 2 shield plaques with fluted centre and angle piers. Moulded base and cornice breaking forward at angles and centre. Monument is about 1m north of Bayly monument (q.v.).
