Description

Church View, likely dating from the 17th or early 18th century, is a two-storey building. It is stuccoed over a projecting stone plinth. A chamfered stone string course runs above the ground floor windows. The building has a moulded stone eaves cornice and slight side piers, and an old tile roof with brick gable end chimneys and stone coping to the left gable. The windows are stone mullion casements; the ground floor has a two-light casement to the left and a three-light casement to the right, both stone mullioned. The first floor windows are a pair of five-light stone moulded mullion casements flanking the centre, with 19th-century glass. The central entrance is a six-panel door (with the upper two panels glazed) set within a moulded stone surround, and is sheltered by a rather poor 19th-century gabled porch with fretted bargeboard and stone piers.
