Description

The barn at Manor Farm, dated 1740, features the initials AKE, representing Anthony and Elizabeth Kingston, on the west gable end. It is constructed of rubble stone and has a corrugated asbestos roof with coped verges. The barn consists of five bays. On the north side, there is a gabled porch with a weatherboarded gable and lean-to extensions on either side. The south side includes two chamfered arrowloop vents with dripstones. The east gable has pigeon holes for a pigeon loft, while the west gable displays a datestone and an arched owlhole. The interior was not accessible during the survey in November 1986.
