Description

Marston Meysey Bridge is an accommodation bridge over the Thames and Severn Canal, built between 1783 and 1789. The bridge was designed by surveyor Robert Whitworth and engineered by Josiah Clowes. It is constructed of red brick and features stone copings and stone springers for three rings of half-brick arches. Below the bridge, there are traces of a former lock. The bridge has group value with the nearby Round House and gate pier.
