Description

The barn at Park Farm is an 18th-century structure that features a timber frame with a corrugated iron roof, weatherboard ends, and breeze-block low side walls. It is a five-bay aisled barn with a steeply hipped roof on the west side and a half-hipped roof on the east side, which includes an entry at the east end. Originally, the barn had four bays with hipped roofs at both ends, and the hip at the east end remains intact. The barn is supported by tie-beam and collar trusses with angle braces, and it has jowled posts that are also braced from three sides.
