Description

The former Primitive Methodist Chapel, now disused, was built in 1849. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and features a hipped slate roof. The building has an ashlar plinth, flush quoins, and flush surrounds to two 16-pane sash windows above and double doors below. There is a blank recess between the windows that once held a stone date plaque, which was inscribed with 'Primitive Methodist Chapel Erected AD 1771. Rebuild AD 1849'.
