Description

New Barn Lodge is an early 19th-century cottage orné, originally a lodge for the Wardour Estate. The building is constructed of dressed limestone, with a hipped thatched roof and an axial brick stack. It is a single-storey structure with two windows. A glazed door is located to the left of the building, with a three-light mullioned window to the right. A verandah runs along the front, supported by four plain stone columns. A 20th-century casement window is present on the right return, and a square stone bay with a four-light mullioned window on the left return. A 20th-century flat-roofed extension has been added to the rear.
