Description

Down Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed limestone rubble, topped with a stone slate roof that features raised gables. The building is two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays, along with an extension to the right. The central entrance is a six-panel door with a round head. The windows are 12-pane sashes, each adorned with stone dressings and lintels. Ashlar gable stacks with cornices are present, and there is a central hipped dormer. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing and a small dormer.
