Description

No. 268 is a house located on The Green in East Grafton, dating from the 17th century. It is timber framed with painted brick noggings and features a thatched roof. The building is originally single-storey with an attic but has been raised to two storeys and consists of three bays. The frame has two panels high with corner braces. The entrance is located in the central bay, and there is a 20th-century porch that is not of listable standard. The windows are timber casements, and there is a stack in the first bay. Inside, there is a blocked fireplace associated with the main stack and a fire lintel.
