Description

Nos. 12 and 14 form a pair of 18th-century houses that have been altered since their original construction. They are rendered and painted, with a pantile roof and gable end chimneys. No. 14 has brick detailing.

No. 12 has three window ranges. The right-hand side has a range of glazing bar sash windows. The centre and left sides of the first floor have two-light casement windows. On the ground floor, from left to right, is a single window, a shallow segmental bow window with eight panes over four, framed with panelled strips, a panelled frieze with a beaded edge and a small cornice, a central front door with a modern glazed gabled porch, and a rectangular bay window with five panes over four, featuring a panelled cill and cornice matching the bow window.

No. 14 has a single range of glazing bar sash windows and a nine-panel door to the left, with the top panels glazed, set within a moulded frame with a 20th-century pent roof. A lower ground floor exists at the rear of the property. The south-west corner is slightly chamfered.
