Description

This is an early 19th-century building consisting of two properties, 29 and 31 Westbury Leigh. The building is constructed of painted brick with brick dentil bands marking the floors and corner piers. The window arrangement has been altered for domestic use. Originally, the fenestration was wider, and most windows retain their original glazing bars. Number 29 has fixed windows on the second floor, and 2-light casements and glazing bar sashes on the first and ground floors, respectively. Number 31 features late glazing bar sashes on the first and second floors, along with glazing bar casements on the ground floor. Each property has a ledged door set beneath a common segmental relieving arch, alongside an adjacent window, with plain bracketted drips above. A skew extension projects to the east. The roof is tiled with pantiles and hipped to the right. Three chimney stacks are located at the rear of the building.
