Description
The stable block at Jaggards House, dated 1764, was built for J. Kington. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a stone-tiled roof with coped gables. The building has two storeys, with a central coped dormer gable above a loading door that has a date plaque. There is a ground floor central door, and both doors are framed with raised imposts and keystones. Each side of the central door has a range of two-light flush cyma-moulded windows, while the upper windows are likely a later addition. The lower windows have dripstones. There is a circular opening in the end wall that is partially blocked by a stone-tiled addition, which has a coped gable and a two-light end window. To the left of the door, there is a mounting block. The rear of the building features a dormer gable, an upper arched loading door with impost and key blocks, three blocked two-light ground floor windows with dripstones, and a later lean-to addition.
