Description
Bowling Green House is an early 18th-century small red brick house that stands two storeys tall with a rough cast entrance front. It features a band between the storeys and a steep gable roof covered with old tiles. The house has flanking external chimney stacks with offsets and is double depth, with the rear being a slightly later 18th-century addition in part. The entrance front has two windows, with two-light casements on the first floor and 19th-century sash windows on the ground floor. A 19th-century gabled porch is present at the entrance. On the north side, there is a lean-to with exposed 18th-century timber framing visible at the half gable. The south side of the rear part has tile hanging and a canted bay window. The rear features irregular casements and a three-storey gabled bay that originally framed the rear wing. There are no notable interior features.
