Description

This barn, located in the courtyard to the southeast of Bradfield Manor Farmhouse, is likely from the 15th century but was restructured in the 19th century. It is built of coursed rubble with flush dressed stone quoins at the south corner, featuring wooden lintels and plank doors. The roof is gabled and covered with corrugated asbestos, half hipped at the ends. There are steps leading up to a loft on the east front. Inside, the barn has a simple early 19th-century collar and tie-beam roof structure. It is included mainly for its group value with Bradfield Manor Farmhouse.
