Description

No. 8 Curzon Street is a house that was refronted in the mid-19th century, likely originally built in the 18th century. The exterior features stucco over limestone rubble, with brick gable stacks and a slate roof. The house has a single-depth plan, with an off-centre door leading to a larger room on the right, which is heated by a large stack. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. The entrance includes a round-arched doorway that leads to a recessed four-panel door with a fanlight above it. The windows are plate-glass sashes with margin panes, and there is a modern shop window with three lights inserted on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
