Description

Nos 36 to 40 on Westbury Leigh is an 18th-century block of cottages that has been altered. The building is two storeys high, rendered, and features a pantile roof. It has three chimneys, with only one located on the ridge. There is a brick dentil string above the ground floor. The cottages have four ranges of irregularly spaced windows; only No 36 has two-light glazing bar casements, while the others have modern windows. No 36 has a ledged door with a bracketed hood, No 38 features a modern bracketed hood over a modern half-glazed door, and No 40 has a 19th-century bracketed hood over a 20th-century half-glazed door.
