Description
22 Silver Street is a building from the 17th century with alterations from the 18th century. It has two storeys and is constructed of painted rubble with freestone dressings. The roof is modern and covered with pantiles, featuring a square stone chimney-stack on the left side. The façade has four windows arranged in pairs, with sash windows set in plain reveals and intact glazing bars. There is a central doorway with a square head and roll moulding. To the right, there is a shop window with a plain fascia, which is supported by two pilasters that have sunken panels. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 18 to 24 Silver Street.
