Description

The Old Cottage, located at 19 Silver Street, is a Grade II listed building dated 1718. This two-storey cottage, with an attic, is constructed of coursed rubble and features freestone dressings. It has a projecting gable with a dormer that rises into the roof, and a stone slab roof that extends forward to the eaves on either side of the gable. The cottage has a pair of sash windows with glazing bars on both the first and ground floors, and a recessed six-panel door to the left. The Old Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 18 to 24 Silver Street.
