Description
A pair of houses located on Foundry Road, Malmesbury, built in the mid-19th century and altered in the late 20th century. The houses are constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a brick party wall stack and a Welsh slate roof. They have a single-depth plan and are arranged as two storeys and an attic, with a single window range on each side. Each house has mid-20th century concrete lintels over recessed doorways. Number 52 has a 6-panel door with an overlight, while Number 50 has a later door. The windows are sash windows with segmental-arched first-floor sashes in exposed boxes; Number 50 also has a small attic casement beneath the eaves. The interior was not inspected.
