Description

The stable at Manton Grange, dating from the early 18th century, is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a pitched tile roof. It is a single storey with a hayloft. The stable has one planked door with original hinges set in an ashlar frame that is chamfered and includes a keystone and plain cornice. Above this door is a modern loft door in a similar ashlar frame. There are fixed windows on either side of the door, each with moulded ashlar dripstones. Additionally, there is an oval window in an ashlar frame located in the north gable end.
