Description

This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 2 meters north-west of the Seymer monument and south-east of the organ chamber of the Church of St. Thomas. The tomb dates from the mid to later 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. It features two recessed plaques on each side and one at each end, topped with a moulded capstone. The monument is partially obscured by a yew tree.
