Description
Ham Green House is a detached house dating from around 1800. It features a limestone ashlar front, with a rubble stone rear and returns, and a Welsh slate roof that has coped verges and gable end stone stacks with moulded cappings. The building is designed in a T-plan and is two storeys high with an attic, comprising three windows across the front.
The central door has six fielded panels and a fanlight, set within a semi-circular headed surround. There are 16-pane sash windows on either side of the door, which are recessed in semi-circular headed panels. A sill band runs along the front, supporting three first-floor 11-pane sashes. The house has a moulded cornice above a plain blocking course and features two flat-headed attic dormers with 2-light casements.
At the rear, there is a lower two-storey service wing that also has 16-pane sashes and a double Roman tiled roof. A 20th-century two-storey addition is attached to the right side of the house.
