Description
This Baptist chapel was built in 1832 and is constructed of rubble stone with ashlar dressings and a slate hipped roof. The front of the building features an ashlar porch with a coped gable and a stone slab roof. Above the porch is a plaque reading 'Ebenezer Chapel 1832', with a small circular window positioned above it within a square stone frame featuring incised spandrels. The sides of the chapel have two window bays, each with shallow pointed head windows and iron glazing bars with intersecting heads. A corrugated iron lean-to has been added to the rear. The interior contains a panelled wooden gallery supported by two iron columns. A balustered rail runs along the north side, and simple Gothic panelling decorates the lectern and the area behind the minister's seat, which is topped by a board shaped like a scrolled pediment.
