Description
Woodhouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1600. It features square-panelled timber-framing with painted brick nogging and a Bridgwater tiled roof, complete with brick stacks at the gable ends. The building is single-storey and has two windows. To the right of the center, there is a six-panelled door set in a rustic porch, with a three-light casement window on either side. To the left, there is an original timber-framed full gabled dormer with a three-light casement, while a plain full gabled dormer with a three-light casement is located to the right.
An attached 20th-century garage on the left is not of special interest. The rear wall is pebbledashed and features 20th-century raised eaves, with two-light and three-light casement windows on the first floor, as well as a 20th-century single-storey extension that includes a brick stack. To the right of the front, there is a 19th-century brick range built in English garden wall bond, which has two-light casement windows and a half-hipped roof. The interior is reported to have a blocked open fireplace and chamfered beams.
