Description

This outbuilding, located to the south of Seend Head Mill, was originally a stable with a loft above and dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with brick dressings and features a plain tile half-hipped roof. The building has brick quoins, a north end plank door, and a boarded loading door to the first floor. On the east side, there is a large lean-to covered with Bridgwater tiles. The building is substantial in size, resembling a barn, and is an important part of the group of mill buildings at Seend Head.
