Description
Nos. 47 and 48 are a pair of estate cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from dressed limestone and feature a half-hipped thatched roof with brick stacks. The cottages are two stories tall and have a total of six windows. The front includes four panelled half-glazed doors set in gabled porches on the left and right sides, along with four 3-light casements, one single light casement, and two 2-light casements on the ground floor. The first floor has four 2-light casements and two 3-light casements. The left and right sides of the cottages are finished in English garden wall bond brick. At the rear, there are lean-to extensions. The interior has not been inspected. These cottages are a good example of estate housing from the former Boyton Manor estate.
