Description

This is a row of three houses located on the east side of High Street, built in the early and later 19th century. The houses are constructed of red brick with roofs covered in Bridgwater tiles, and have ridge and north-end chimneys.

Originally, numbers 16 to 14 had a three-window front, with cambered heads above the ground-floor openings. Number 16 has three casement windows on the upper floor, and a central door with a small 20-pane window to the left, all sheltered by a tiled hood. Number 14 has a single casement window to the left and a pair of casement windows to the right on each floor, also with a central door under a similar tiled hood. Number 12, the house on the right, is a later addition, with a two-window front featuring cambered-head casement windows, two above and one with a door below. The end wall of Number 12 has a single-window range of triple casement windows and an attic roundel. A rear wing extends from the property, with three casement windows on the first floor. Some thin timber framing is visible on the rear of Number 14.
