Description

There are two chest tombs made of limestone located in the churchyard, 3 meters south of the nave of the Church of St Mary. These tombs date from the late 17th century and are both unidentified, having sunk to half their original height. Each tomb features two recessed inscription panels on the sides and ends, decorated with lozenge and rivet designs around the panelled surrounds. The lettering on the panels has eroded over time, and the tombs have deeply projecting ovolo moulded slabs.
