Description

This is a house, likely originating in the 17th century, with later restoration and alterations in the 18th and 20th centuries. The west front is rendered rubble with dressed stone window surrounds, and it has a double Roman tile roof with brick stacks at each end. The house is two storeys high with three windows. All windows are two-light, 18th-century edge-moulded mullioned windows, fitted with 19th-century casements, except for the central window, which is set within a blocked doorway and lacks a mullion. A continuous string course runs along the first floor. A doorway is located to the right, set within a cambered-arched recess, containing a 20th-century plank door. Two small windows are positioned to the left of the door, and a lean-to garage extension adjoins the left-hand side.
