Description

This is an 18th-century building in Westbury Market Place, altered in later centuries. It is two storeys and has an attic. The front displays an old tiled roof with sagging eaves, and a modern ridge chimney with arched panels on each side, topped by a 4-light dormer window. The front features an undulating Edwardian parapet with three blind arches above plate glass sash windows. The ground floor shop is built of brick with a moulded stone cope to the undulating parapet on the left, and a moulded flat hood above the doorway. A three-light shop window is located to the right of the recessed doorway. The rear of the building is constructed of Westbury brick. The building is listed for group value due to its prominent position.
