Description
The cart shed located immediately north-east of Elberry Farmhouse is a mid-19th century structure. It is built from Devonian limestone rubble and features a slated roof. The building has a simple rectangular shape and is one storey high, with the front completely open. The roof is supported by oblong-section granite posts. Inside, there are king-post-and-ridge roof trusses. This cart shed is functionally connected to the farmstead, which includes the farmhouse and other farm buildings arranged in a cohesive layout.
