Description

This is a terrace of four houses located on the south side of Mount Pleasant Road in Lower Brixham. They were built in the early 19th century. The houses have roughcast walls, likely built on a stone rubble core, and slate roofs. The brick chimneys are prominent, with the chimney at number 131 being double-width. Numbers 127 and 131 are three stories high, while number 133 is two stories. Each house has doorways to the left (at number 127) or central (at numbers 129, 131, and 133), and pent-roofed door hoods over the entrances. The windows are mostly small-paned wood casements; numbers 127 and 131 have 6 or 8 panes to each light, while number 133 has six-paned sashes. Number 133 has rusticated pilaster strips at either end of the front elevation and a boxed eaves cornice.
