Description
The Calley Arms is a public house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is built of red brick on a stone plinth and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and is topped with gable end brick chimneys. There are three windows, which are glazing bar sashes, with the outer windows being tripartite. The central entrance consists of a glazed door flanked by reeded pilasters and topped with a patterned rectangular fanlight, and it has a six-panel door. A modern hood supported by posts covers the entrance. The building also has a gable-lit attic. To the right, there is a mid-19th century single-storey extension with an apsed end.
