Description

The Jolly Tar Public House is an 18th-century building located on the south side of Hannington Quern's Road. It stands two and a half storeys tall, constructed of painted rubble with wooden lintels and features a slate roof that is half hipped to the right. The building has two ridge chimneys and two gabled dormers, which contain Yorkshire sash windows. To the right, there is a mid-19th century gabled tower porch. The facade is arranged in a pattern of two bays, one bay, and three bays, with 2 and 3 light casement windows.
