Description
Glebe House is a building dating from around 1720, designed in an earlier style. It stands two and a half storeys tall and features a front made of coursed rubble laid in alternating wide and thin courses. The building has a coved plaster eaves cornice and a stone tile roof, along with three brick chimney stacks that have diagonal shafts. The façade consists of six bays with 19th-century two-light casements, which include keystones on the ground floor. There is an off-centre right tower porch made of painted brick, which has a hipped roof and is a later addition. The porch features a Tudor arch doorway and pointed lights on the sides. At the rear, there are two gabled dormers. Inside, there is a staircase with turned balusters and a ramped rail.
