Description
Parsonage Farmhouse is a building that likely dates from around 1700 but underwent significant alterations during a remodelling around 1900. It stands two and a half storeys tall and is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings. The windows feature brick arches, and the roof is covered with stone tiles, topped with gable end chimneys that have moulded capping. The house has two outer coped gables for attic windows and consists of four bays. The first floor has three-light casements, while the ground floor has two similar windows flanking a projecting gabled porch. This porch features a moulded Tudor arch doorway with a drip. The ground floor of the gabled bays includes square bays with 1-5-1 mullion and transom windows, which date from the remodelling. A buttress has been added to the left side of the building, and there is a two-storey extension to the right.
